The Apocalypse, the Book of the Revelation

Words Of Wisdom

My Point of View

In the following, instead of making the mistake of trying to guess when God will destroy Babylon, let us take note of her sins that we do not partake of them! -Etienne

THE APOCALYPSE
OF ST. JOHN THE APOSTLE
CHAPTER 18.

The Fall of Babylon

AND after this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was lighted up by his glory. 2. And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, "She has fallen, she has b fallen, Babylon the great; and has become a habitation of demons, a stronghold of every unclean spirit, a stronghold of every unclean and hateful bird; 3. because all the nations have drunk of the wrath of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and by the power of her wantonness the merchants of the earth have grown rich."

Her Sins and Punishment

4. And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Go out from her, my people, that you may not share in her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues. 5. For her sins have reached even to heaven, and the Lord has remembered her iniquities. 6. Render to her as she also has rendered, and give her the double according to her works; in the cup, that she has mixed, mix for her double. 7. As much as she glorified herself and gave herself to wantonness, so much torment and mourning give to her. Because in her heart she says, c I sit a queen, I am no widow, and I shall not see mourning.’ 8. Therefore in one day her plagues shall come, death and mourning and famine; and she shall be burnt up in fire; for strong is God who will judge her."

Dirge of the Kings

9. 2 And the kings of the earth who with her committed fornication and lived wantonly will weep and mourn over her when they see the smoke of her burning, 10. standing afar off for fear of her torments, saying, "Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city, for in one hour has thy judgment come!"

Dirge of the Merchants

11. And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her; for no one will buy their merchandise any more: 12. merchandise of gold and silver, and precious stones and pearls, and fine linen and purple, and silk and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all vessels of ivory, and all vessels of precious stone, and of brass, and of iron, and of marble, 13. and cinnamon and amomum and spices, and ointment and frankincense, and wine and oil, and fine flour and wheat, and beasts of burden 3 and sheep and horses, and chariots and slaves, and souls of men. 14. And the fruit which was the desire of thy soul departed from thee; and all the fat and splendid things perished from thee, and men will find them nevermore. 15. The merchants of these things, who grew rich by her, will stand afar off for fear of her torments, weeping, and mourning, 16. and saying, "Woe, woe, the great city, which was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and gilded in gold, and precious stone, and pearls; 17. for in one hour riches, so great were laid waste!"

Dirge of the Mariners

And every shipmaster, and everyone who sails to a place, and mariners, and all who work upon the sea, stood afar off, 18. and cried out as they saw the place of her burning, saying, "What city is like to this great city?" 19. And they cast dust on their heads, and cried out weeping and mourning, saying “Woe, woe, the great city, wherein all who had their ships at sea were made rich out of her wealth; for in one hour she has been laid waste!” 20. Make merry over her , O heaven, and you the saints and the apostles and the prophets, for God has judged your cause upon her

l-Ver. 17. The Greek text reads: ". . . to do his purpose and to make common cause and to give their kingdom. . . ."
2-Ver. 9-19. This passage does not appear to be an account of a vision but rather a direct prophecy, after the manner of the prophecies of Isaias and Ezechiel concernlng Tyre. Tyre furnishes a type of the vengeance of God upon pride and luxury.
3- Ver. 1.3. Beasts of burden: the Greek has
"cattle."

Note in the above inerrant Holy Scripture that the picture Jesus is showing us is one of complete apostasy from God.

LET BE ACCURSED ANY GOSPEL OTHER THAN THAT WHICH WAS PREACHED AT THE BEGINNING, RECEIVED NOT FROM MAN BUT FROM CHRIST JESUS, THOU ALONE, IN WHOM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH THY ALL HOLY INFINITELY PURE AND UNDEFILED BLOOD, THE REMISSION OF OUR SINS, WHO IN THE FUTURE SHALL RECREATE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH, CALLED BY THINE SPECIAL CHOICE, WHO BEFORE HOPED IN CHRIST WITH ALL WHO HEARD THE WORD OF TRUTH AND BELIEVED, SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF THE PROMISE, WHO IS THE PLEDGE OF OUR INHERITANCE, TO THE REDEMPTION OF THE POSSESSION, FOR THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY, IN FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS, AND OF LOVE FOR ALL THE SAINTS IN UNCEASING INTERCESSION OF ALL THE ELECT ANGELS AND SAINTS OF GOD, VIRGINS, WITH ALL THANKSGIVING, THAT THE GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER OF GLORY, MAY GRANT US THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION IN DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF HIM; THE EYES OF OUR MINDS BEING ENLIGHTENED, TO KNOW THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING, THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS, AND THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF HIS POWER TOWARDS US WHO BELIEVE, ACCORDING TO THE WORKING OF HIS MIGHTY POWER WROUGHT IN CHRIST THE ONLY FIRST BORN FROM THE DEAD IN THE FLESH RAISED ABOVE ALL THINGS HE MADE SUBJECT UNDER HIS FEET, WE WHO HOLD HIM THE HEAD DIRECTLY AND NO OTHER, CHRIST JESUS OUR ONLY LORD AND SAVIOUR IMMORTAL SON OF THE IMMORTAL FATHER IN THE UNITY AND POWER OF THE IMMORTAL HOLY SPIRIT OUR PARACLETE UNTO THE AGES OF THE AGES. To uphold our baptismal vows we must have nothing to do with the Vatican - the seat of absolute Apostasy.

God will punish and damn those who disobey this.

Rv:13: THE MARK OF THOSE WHO ARE DAMNED

16 And he shall make all, both little and great, rich and poor, freemen and bondmen, to have a character [3] in their right hand or on their foreheads: … Scripture reference – Rev.: 14:9; 20:4
[3] -Ver. 16. Character (mark): as slaves received a brand or a mark in their flesh, indicating to whom they belonged, so in the spiritual conflict there is on the side of good and of evil a
brand or mark. St. Paul spoke of such marks in his own body that proved him a slave of Jesus Christ [Gal. 6, 17]. So the false prophet seeks to, impress a mark on all. What this mark is will be manifested in its time.

The First Three Bowls THE PUNISHMENT OF THE DAMNED EVEN BEFORE THEY ARE CAST INTO HELL FOREVER BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AT HIS SECOND COMING

Rv:16:
1 ¶ And I heard a great voice [1] out of the temple, saying to the seven angels: Go and pour out the seven vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. … Scripture reference – Ps.: 68:25!
2 And the first went and poured out his vial upon the earth. And there fell a sore and grievous wound upon men who had the character of the beast: [2] and upon them that adored the image thereof. … Scripture reference – Exod.: 9:10; Rev.: 14:9, 11!; 19:20

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast. And his kingdom became dark: and they gnawed their tongues for pain.

[1] -Ver. 1. Great (loud) voice: the divine voice from the throne itself.
[2] Ver. 2. The plague falls on those who carry the character (mark) of the beast; it resembles the sixth Egyptian plague, the plague of boils. Cf. Ex. 9, 8-12.

Rv:14: WE MUST UPHOLD OUR BAPTISMAL VOWS TO THE DEATH
8 And another angel followed, saying: That great Babylon [3] is fallen, is fallen; which made all nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 18:2; Isaiah: 21:9!; Rev.: 17:2; 18:3
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice: If any man shall adore the beast and his image and receive his character in his forehead or in his hand, … Scripture reference – Rev.: 16:2; 19:20; 20:4; 13:6
10 He also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mingled with pure wine in the cup of his wrath: and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 16:19; Ps.: 74:9!
11 And the smoke of their torments, shall ascend up for ever and ever: neither have they rest day nor night, who have adored the beast and his image and whoever receiveth the character of his name. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 19:3; Isaiah: 34:10; Rev.: 13:17; 16:2; 19:20; 20:4
Blessedness of the Saints
12 Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 13:10; 2:13!; 12:17!; Sir.: 2:21
13 ¶ And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. From henceforth [4] now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours. For their works follow them. … Scripture reference – IV Esr.:7:35
[3] -Ver. 8. Babylon: in the Jewish old testament and the Christian new testament, Babylon was a synonym for religious harlotry, in this case, Rome. The final fulfillment is taking shape for quite some time now by the forces of Judeo Mason infiltration into Roman ecclesial circles and its concomitant Zionist pillage of Palestine. The end of this and the time is known to God. We must quote the Church Fathers and St. Paul and say that the aim of the antichrist forces is to rebuild the Solomonic temple in Jerusalem and subvert the whole Church into Judaic Apostasy. The faithful must have no part in this and oppose it in every way while staying completely apart from it.
[4] -Ver. 13. The punctuation of the Vulgate is slightly different: .. . . . those who die in the Lord. Now from henceforth. . . . .. The punctuation of the Greek text, which is supported by some good Vulgate codices is: “…the dead who die in the Lord henceforth.”

The Fifth Prophesy: Isaias 54: 17; 55: 1-11

We are through the Sacrament of Baptism incorporated into the new nation: the Church, which with God enters into a covenant superior to the covenant of Sinai.

Quia sicut exaltántur cæli a terra, sic exaltátæ sunt viæ meæ a viis vestris, et cogitatiónes meæ a cogitatiónibus vestris.

This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and their justice with Me, saith the Lord. All you that thirst, come to the waters: and you that have no money, make haste, buy and eat; come ye, buy wine and milk without money, and without any price. Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which doth not satisfy you? Harken diligently to Me, and eat that which is good, and your soul shall be delighted in fatness. Incline your ear, and come to Me: hear, and your soul shall live, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the faithful mercies of David. Behold I have given him for a witness to the people, for a leader and a master to the gentiles. Behold thou shalt call a nation, which thou knewest not; and the nations that knew not thee, shall run to thee, because of the Lord thy God, and for the holy One of Israel, for He hath glorified thee. Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unjust man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He is bountiful to forgive. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so are My ways exalted above your ways, and My thoughts above your thoughts. And as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return no more thither, but soak the earth, and water it, and make it to spring, and give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater; so shall My word be, which shall go forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it; saith the Lord almighty.

IRENAEUS AGAINST HERESIES. (Pg. 378 – 8.)
…the [successive] emanations of the Deity. The views, again, which they propound, without either plausibility or parade, are simply lies from beginning to end.
…and Paul well says …words of false knowledge.
I Tim. vi. 20.

TODAY, THIS IDEA OF SUCCESSIVE EMANATIONS OF THE DEITY IS ECHOED BY FALSE TEACHERS LIKE benedict groeschel, ONE OF THE RESIDENT HERETICS OF EWTN, WHEN HE CLAIMS THAT PAGANS CAN COME DIRECTLY TO GOD THE FATHER BY THEIR PAGAN RELIGIONS BUT THAT JESUS IS THE ONE THROUGH WHOM CHRISTIANS COME. JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY ONE THROUGH WHOM ANYONE CAN COME TO GOD THE FATHER, AND NEVER BY PAGAN RELIGIONS.

Section Two

ST. IRENAEUS AGAINST HERESIES

These, then, are the particulars which have reached us respecting ( gnostic ) “redemption.” But since they differ so widely among themselves both as respects doctrine and tradition, and since those of them who are recognised as being most modern make it their effort daily to invent some new opinion, and to bring out what no one ever before thought of, it is a difficult matter to describe all their opinions.

..eternal things He ( God ) did not make by angels, or by any powers separated from His Ennoea { Gnostic term taken from the springing forth of the Greek goddess Athena from the head of Zeus }. For God needs none of all these things, but is He who, by His Word and Spirit, makes, and disposes, and governs all things, and commands all things into existence, He who formed the world (for the world is of all), - He who fashioned man, - He [who] is the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, above whom there is no other God, nor initial principle, nor power, nor pleroma, - He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, as we shall prove. Holding, therefore, this rule, we shall easily show, notwithstanding the great variety and multitude of their opinions, that these men have deviated from the truth; for almost all the different sects of heretics admit that there is one God; but then, by their pernicious doctrines, they change [this truth into error], even as the Gentiles do through idolatry, - thus proving themselves ungrateful to Him that created them. { this is from St. Irenaeus’ rule of faith and doctrine for the Church which he learned from St. Polycarp who learned it from the Apostles }

Moreover, they despise the workmanship of God, speaking against their own salvation, becoming their own bitterest accusers, and being false witnesses [against themselves]. Yet, reluctant as they may be, these men shall one day rise again in the flesh, to confess the power of Him who raises them from the dead; but they shall not be numbered among the righteous on account of their unbelief. { emphasis here of St. Irenaeus’ condemnation of evolutionary gnostics to where they will certainly be - the left hand of Christ at the general resurrection and damned forever }

Section Three

ST. IRENAEUS AGAINST HERESIES BOOK I CHAP. XXIII.-DOCTRINES AND PRACTICES OF SIMON MAGUS AND MENANDER.

I. Simon the Samaritan was that magician of whom Luke, the disciple and follower of the apostles, says, “But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who beforetime used magical arts in that city, and led astray the people of Samaria, declaring that he himself was some great one, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This is the power of God, which is called great. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had driven them mad by his sorceries.” This Simon, then - who feigned faith, supposing that the apostles themselves performed their cures by the art of magic, and not by the power of God; and with respect to their filling with the Holy Ghost, through the imposition of hands, those that believed in God through Him who was preached by them, namely, Christ Jesus - suspecting that even this was done through a kind of greater knowledge of magic, and offering money to the apostles, thought he, too, might receive this power of bestowing the Holy Spirit on whomsoever he would, - was addressed in these words by Peter: “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God can be purchased with money: thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter, for thy heart is not right in the sight of God; for I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.” 8 He, then, not putting faith in God a whit the more, set himself eagerly to contend against the apostles, in order that he himself might seem to be a wonderful being, and applied himself with still greater zeal to the study of the whole magic art, that he might the better bewilder and overpower multitudes of men. Such was his procedure in the reign of Claudius Caesar, by whom also he is said to have been honoured with a statue, on account of his magical power. This man, then, was glorified by many as if he were a god; and he taught that it was himself who appeared among the Jews as the Son; but descended in Samaria as the Father, while he came to other nations in the character of the Holy Spirit. He represented himself, in a word, as being the loftiest of all powers, that is, the Being who is the Father over all, and he allowed himself to be called by whatsoever title men were pleased to address him. For ( according to Simon ) men are saved through his grace, and not on account of their own righteous actions

2. Now this Simon of Samaria, from whom all sorts of heresies derive their origin, formed his sect….
The successor of this man was Menander, also a Samaritan by birth, and he, too, was a perfect adept in the practice of magic.

3 DUADIST UNIVERSALISM

RATHER THAN THE QUICKENING SPIRIT OF CHRIST
THE ORIGINATOR OF ALL OF THIS IN THE PAGAN SYSTEMS IS THE SERPENT/DRAGON FROM THE COSMIC EGG – THE COSMOCRATORAS OF THE PAGANS AND THE GNOSTICS

Then did Time generate a gigantic egg (…long-suffering. Zoega, from Egyptian roots eri and keb, and that it means the multiplier), and filled by the might of its generator it burst in twain, and its top was Heaven and its bottom Earth (Lobeck, 487). a mighty dragon, like unto the manifold forms of beasts, and his name was Protogonos or Zeus or Pan, for he arranged the whole world. Section Four

ST. IRENAEUS AGAINST HERESIES
We may subvert their doctrine as to transmigration from body to body by this fact, that souls remember nothing whatever of the events which took place in their previous states of existence. For if they were sent forth with this object, that they should have experience of every kind of action, they must of necessity retain a remembrance of those things which have been previously accomplished, that they might fill up those in which they were still deficient, and not by always hovering, without intermission, round the same pursuits, spend their labour wretchedly in vain (for the mere union of a body [with a soul] could not altogether extinguish the memory and contemplation of those things which had formerly been experienced and especially as they came [into the world] for this very purpose. For as, when the body is asleep and at rest, whatever things the soul sees by herself, and does in a vision, recollecting

Section Five

Selected and conflated passages from St. Irenaeus’ Against Heresies ( from
Books II and IV )

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God." And as it was not to those who are without that he said these things, but to us, lest we should be cast forth from the kingdom of God, by doing any such thing, he proceeds to say, "And such indeed were ye; but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God." And just as then, those who led vicious lives, and put other people astray, were condemned and cast out, so also even now the offending eye is plucked out, and the foot and the hand, lest the rest of the body perish in like manner. … the fierce, and terrible, and irrational thou wilt drive far from thee, that you may no longer have to endure their idle loquaciousness and if there be any others who are said to perform miracles - who do not perform what they do either through the power of God, or in connection with the truth, nor for the well-being of men, but for the sake of destroying and misleading mankind, by means of magical deceptions, and with universal deceit, thus entailing greater harm than good on those who believe them, with respect to the point on which they lead them astray. For they can neither confer sight on the blind, nor hearing on the deaf, nor chase away all sorts of demons - [none, indeed,] except those that are sent into others by themselves, if they can even do so much as this. Nor can they cure the weak, or the lame, or the paralytic, or those who are distressed in any other part of the body, as has often been done in regard to bodily infirmity. Nor can they furnish effective remedies for those external accidents which may occur. And so far are they from being able to raise the dead, as the Lord raised them, and the apostles did by means of prayer, and as has been frequently done in the brotherhood on account of some necessity - the entire Church in that particular locality entreating [the favor] with much fasting and prayer, the spirit of the dead man has returned, and he has been bestowed in answer to the prayers of the saints - that they do not even believe this can be possibly be done, [and hold] that the resurrection from the dead is simply an acquaintance with that ‘so-called truth’ of theirs which they proclaim - their so-called super spiritual “resurrection”,{note - i.e. the “secret rapture”}.

3. Since, therefore, there exist among them error and misleading influences, and magical illusions are impiously wrought in the sight of men; but in the Church, sympathy, and compassion, and stedfastness, and truth, for the aid and encouragement of mankind, are not only displayed without fee or reward, but we ourselves lay out for the benefit of others our own means; and inasmuch as those who are cured very frequently do not possess the things which they require, they receive them from us; [since such is the case,] these men are in this way undoubtedly proved to be utter aliens from the divine nature, the beneficence of God, and all spiritual excellence. But they are altogether full of deceit of every kind, apostate inspiration, demoniacal working, and the phantasms of idolatry, and are in reality the predecessors of that dragon who, by means of a deception of the same kind, will with his tail cause a third part of the stars to fall from their place, and will cast them down to the earth. It behoves us to flee from them as we would-from him; and the greater the display with which they are said to perform [their marvels], the more carefully should we watch them, as having been endowed with a greater spirit of wickedness. If anyone will consider the prophecy referred to, and the daily practices of these men, he will find that their manner of acting is one and the same with the demons. To whom, then, is there the savour of death unto death those men, doubtless, who do not believe, nor submit themselves to God.
And again, who are they that have been saved, and received the inheritance? Those, doubtless, who do believe God, and who have continued in His love; as did Caleb [the son of Jephunneh and Joshua [the son] of Nun, and innocent children, who have had no sense of evil. But who are they that are saved now, and receive life eternal? Is it not those who love God, and who believe His promises, and who “in malice have become as little children?"

I. "But," say they, "God hardened the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants." Those, then, who allege such difficulties, do not read in the Gospel that passage where the Lord replied to the disciples, when they asked Him, "Why speakest Thou unto them in parables?" - "Because it is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven; but to them I speak in parables, that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not hear, understanding they may not understand; in order that the prophecy of Isaiah regarding them may be fulfilled, saying, Make the heart of this people gross, and make their ears dull, and blind their eyes. But blessed are your eyes, which see the things that ye see; and your ears, which hear what ye do hear." For one and the same God [that blesses others] inflicts blindness upon those who do not believe, but who set Him at naught; just as the sun, which is a creature of His, [acts with regard] to those who, by reason of any weakness of the eyes, cannot behold his light; but to those who believe in Him and follow Him, He grants a fuller and greater illumination of mind. In accordance with this word, therefore, does the apostle say, in the Second [Epistle] to the Corinthians: "In whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not (this is important; St. Irenaeus elsewhere tells us he specifically means that St. Paul is telling us that the true God is meant, that He blinds by His light the minds of those who turn away from Him, because they choose the darkness because their works are of the darkness. St. Irenaeus points us in this respect to the Gospel of St. John third chapter, verses 19 and 20), lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ should shine [unto them]." And again, in that to the Romans: "And as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things that are not convenient." Speaking of antichrist, too, he says clearly in the Second to the Thessalonians: "And for this cause God shall send them the working of error (energian planes), that they should believe a lie; that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but consented to iniquity."

If, therefore, in the present time also, God, knowing the number of those who will not believe, since He foreknows all things, has given them over to unbelief, and turned away His face from men of this stamp, leaving them in the darkness which they have themselves chosen for themselves, what is there wonderful if He did also at that time give over to their unbelief, Pharaoh, who never would have believed, along with those who were with him? As the Word spake to Moses from the bush: "And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, unless by a mighty hand." And for the reason that the Lord spake in parables, and brought blindness upon Israel, that seeing they might not see, since He knew the [spirit of] unbelief in them, for the same reason did He harden Pharaoh's heart; in order that, while seeing that it was the finger of God which led forth the people, he might not believe, but be precipitated into a sea of unbelief, resting in the notion that the exit of these [Israelites] was accomplished by magical power, and that it was not by the operation of God that the Red Sea afforded a passage to the people, but that this occurred by merely natural causes (sed naturaliter sic se habere). Those, again, who cavil and find fault because the people did, by God's command, upon the eve of their departure, take vessels of all kinds and raiment from the Egyptians, and so went away, from which [spoils], too, the tabernacle was constructed in the wilderness, prove themselves ignorant of the righteous dealings of God, and of His dispensations; as also the presbyter (St. John the Apostle and Evangelist) remarked: For if God had not accorded this in the typical exodus, no one could now be saved in our true exodus; that is, in the faith in which we have been established, and by which we have been brought forth from among the number of the Gentiles.
(St. Irenaeus, in no way here is allowing greed for money, only condemning the idea that to be a Christian one must endure forced poverty by those false teachers of false gospels who would take their possessions from them.)

God’s omnipresence must never be confused with pantheism where god and his creation are combined and God becomes in such systems many gods subsumed in a chief god (henotheism), rather than God creating and remaining distinct from His creation and yet being present sustaining it always-

Note Number One: Enlil (Chaldea, Sumer Assyro-Babylonian) Enlil was the most important deity of the Sumerian pantheon. The center of his cult was in Babylon. Enlil himself the air god, earth god, and storm god (particularly hurricanes) is the son of heaven, personified as the god An, and earth, personified as the goddess Ki. In Sumerian cosmogony, Nammu is the eternal primeval sea (this should be understood as the primal void); the mother of all the gods and the one who gave birth to heaven personified as the god An, and earth, who is personified as the goddess Ki (this should be understood as an emanation or simultaneous procession from the void in a moment of time. This is not the same as God creating, ex nihilo, including time itself as part of His creation). Their union (An and Ki) created the air god Enlil separated from An and Ki (heaven and earth) and the universe was created as heaven and earth separated by Enlil, air (See Section Three: THE ORIGINATOR OF ALL OF THIS IN THE PAGAN SYSTEMS IS THE SERPENT/DRAGON FROM THE COSMIC EGG – THE COSMOCRATORAS OF THE PAGANS AND THE GNOSTICS “cosmocratoras of this darkness” Ephesians 6:12). Enlil was known as lord of the storm, lord of the spirits on earth and in the air, and ghosts. He was the patron god of the city of Nippur, where his temple was called E- Kur (the mountain house). The name Enlil means "lord of the ghost-world." All of this refers to his being Satan - the Devil, the arches or archon of the “spiritual wickednesses” condemned by St. Irenaeus (quoting St. Paul, Ephesians 6:12) in Irenaeus’ creed at the beginning where St. Irenaeus says “…that He (Jesus Christ) may (will) send ‘spiritual wickednesses’, and the angels who transgressed and became apostates, together with the ungodly, and unrighteous, and wicked, and profane among men, into everlasting fire…”.

Take especial note of the highly sophisticated Pantheist/Monist system of ancient Chaldaea (extremely like the Mahayana Buddhist perception [both totally wrong of course!] of how existence came into being of the action of an immanent demiurge, or principle from the void). This fulfills completely all the requirements raised by Theistic Evolution and it’s most recent variation, Intelligent Design, and yet does not draw one logically to belief in the True God Who is ABOVE all and a Personal being of infinite Majesty (for instance, His glory reflected in His angels: doxas). This points out the diabolic trap that Intelligent Design really is. We must stay with a rock basic confession of Who God is. He created us, not the other way around! The true God is the God of REVELATION, not theory!

O Almighty and everlasting God, who, setting up an example of humility for all mankind to follow, didst will that our Saviour should take upon Him our nature, and should suffer the death of the cross: enable us, we beseech thee, ever to bear in mind the teachings of His patience, and in fine to deserve to have part in His resurrection. Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

YOU CAN NOT SPEAK OF THE CRUCIFIXION OF OUR LORD WITHOUT SPEAKING OF HIS RESURRECTION. HE ALWAYS DID THAT. HE IS OUR MODEL. SO WE MUST ALWAYS BEAR THAT LINK BETWEEN THE TWO. IN THE FUTURE HE WILL RETURN AND RAISE ALL MEN IN THE FLESH TO JUDGEMENT! THE EUCHARIST IS OUR PLEDGE OF FIDELITY TO HIM IN OUR RECEPTION OF HIS BODY AND BLOOD. NOT A PLEDGE OF FIDELITY TO EVEN A RIGHTEOUS POPE, LIKE PIUS X. AND CERTAINLY NOT TO ANTIPOPES LIKE JOHN PAUL II AND BENEDICT XVI
Of course the chief priests and Pharisees can’t stand that.

Mt. 21
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone (Christ) shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it shall grind him to powder.
45 And when the ecumenists and legalists had heard his parables, they knew that he spoke of them.
46 And they sought to lay hands on him (while gnashing their teeth), but feared the multitudes, because they held him as a prophet.

Summary of Sections One through Five

AGAINST HERESIES BOOK I CHAP. X. - UNITY OF THE FAITH OF THE CHURCH
THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE WORLD. { note that St. Irenaeus is the first to record the creed later called the apostles creed – with a lot more than we usually see }

I. The Church, though dispersed throughout the whole world, even to the ends of the earth, has received from the apostles and their disciples this faith; [She believes] in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven, and earth, and. the sea, and all things that are in them; and in one Christ Jesus, the Son of God, who became incarnate for our salvation; and in the Holy Spirit, who proclaimed through the prophets the dispensations of God, and the advents and the birth from a virgin, and the passion and the resurrection from the dead, and the ascension into heaven in the flesh of the beloved Christ Jesus, our Lord, and His [future] manifestation from heaven, in the glory of the Father, “to gather all things in one,” and to raise up anew all flesh of the whole human race, in order that to Christ Jesus, our Lord, and God, and Saviour, and King, according to the will of the invisible Father, “every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that I every tongue should confess” to Him, and that He should execute just judgment towards all; that He may send “spiritual wickednesses”, and the angels who transgressed and became apostates, together with the ungodly, and unrighteous, and wicked, and profane among men, into everlasting fire but may, in the exercise of His grace, confer immortality on the righteous, and holy, and those who have kept His commandments, and have persevered in His love, some from the beginning [of their Christian course and others from [the date of] their repentance, and may surround them with everlasting glory.

2. As I have already observed, the Church,
having received this preaching and this faith, although scattered throughout the whole world, yet, as if occupying but one house, carefully ,preserves it. She also believes these points of doctrine] just as if she had but one soul, and one and the same heart, and she proclaims them, and teaches them, and hands them down, with perfect harmony, as if she possessed only one mouth. For, although the languages of the world are dissimilar, yet the import of the tradition is one and the same. For the Churches which have been planted in Germany do not believe or hand down anything different, nor do those in Spain, nor those in Gaul, nor those in the East, nor those in Egypt, nor those in Libya, nor those which have been established in the central regions of the world { Jerusalem, the mother of all the Churches is here referred to as the model of Orthodox belief. This is reflected in the Liturgy of St. James.}. But as the sun, that creature of God, is one and the same throughout the whole world, so also the preaching of the truth shineth everywhere, and enlightens all men that are willing to come to a knowledge of the truth. Nor will anyone of, the rulers in the Churches, however highly gifted he may be in point of eloquence, teach doctrines different from these (for no one is greater than the Master) ; nor, on the other hand, will he who is deficient in power of expression inflict injury on the tradition. For the faith being ever one and the same, neither does one who is able at great length to discourse regarding it, make any addition to it, nor does one, who can say but little, diminish.it.

3 It does not follow because men are endowed
with greater and less degrees of intelligence, that they should therefore change the subject-matter of the faith itself, and should conceive of some other God, besides Him who is the Framer, Maker, and Preserver of this universe ( as if He were not sufficient for them ), or of another Christ, or another Only-begotten.
…while the Catholic Church possesses one and the same faith throughout the whole world, as we have already said.

( Concerning how we act towards heretics – the evolutionary Gnostics )
From all such persons, therefore, it behoves us to keep aloof,…but to adhere to…the doctrine of the Apostles.

In none of the below where I have cited condemnation of false priests or conversely cited the priesthood of the faithful should it be thought that I am condemning good presbyters from among the priesthood of the faithful (St. Irenaeus was one such and a bishop without pretense) who are called priests today. That is those who hold to and teach the truth of Christ.

God bless them.

Science versus tautology (tautology is otherwise known as doublemindedness, the trademark of the Devil)

Tautology: the real definition of tautology is something that pretends to explain something else and seems to but really doesn’t. Modern day word smiths have redirected this into a tautology of a tautology; that indeed a tautology is nothing more than circular logic. If I start by saying that A=B then obviously B=A. But, again, the real classical definition of a tautology is given by the example of Demeter (the Myth of the Greek goddess of spring). In the myth, Demeter escapes from the underworld every spring thereby causing spring to take place on the earth. The obvious fact is that there is no Demeter (or if she was a person many centuries ago, she is dead and not escaping periodically from the underworld; in Greek-Roman myth you could go there by the cave of Cumae on the shore of Lake Avernus in Italy. A real place which is rather drear looking). Given the classical definition, then, pagan mythology, Newtonian physics (with a lot of constant correctives it seems to function well enough) and especially evolution (including theistic evolution with its twin, intelligent design) are all tautologies. The modern tautologists would have us believe that the history of literal creation by God is a tautology, but it isn’t. The problem lies in the definition of science.

The definition of science: the word in English is from scientia (Latin), gnosis (Greek) and means simply “knowledge” – any knowledge. In the classical world in which St. Paul was as at home as he was in Israel, this included Metaphysics, Physics, Logic, Mathematics, natural investigations and theories tied to preternatural and supernal and supernatural causations as well as Art, Literature, Public exhortation, Morals, Architecture, Governance and Religion to mention a few, all of which were interrelated. The place of first honor went to religion, which was agreed by all cultures to be indispensable to the rest. The neo-modern definition of science is adapted by a cabal of socialist engineers of an interdisciplinary amalgamation with no real interrelatedness except a hatred of all traditional morals of all cultures. The root of this so-called definition is the French enlightenment’s encyclopaedists’ pigeon-holing of all knowledge they could misuse in their war on God (why are they so angry with Him? after all He gave them life). Their definition changes with time and is generally of a materialist atheist genre of deus ex machina, god from a machine; the machine is their presupposition of a mechanically self operated phenomenal self created random generated universe with no more spirit than a pretense to noumenal inclusion in materialism via atomistic energies being postulated. In short they have totally misdefined knowledge as only that “science” of theirs which adheres to the above dictatorial sturm und drang of their snide presupposition. It seems they worship the god Enlil, he of the hot air, self heated, no doubt. C.S. Lewis put it this way: that they would have us believe that everything started from nothing, accidentally, and all the little accidental atoms bumped around until they accidentally came together and continued to come up with different accidents until they (the little accidental atoms) inside my own head in my brain cells accidentally came to the conclusion it was all an accident. Oh me Oh my, my poor little aching head. By the way, this is not new, it is ancient Epicureanism. When the ancient gods are added (Stoicism etc.) then you have the world of the Antichrist.

Evolution, the theory of paganism prompted by the Devil (you too can be your own god, in hell). What we see from the above is that for anyone to embrace the above axiomatic anarchy paves the way to complete destruction of everything godly; if it is all an accident, who cares about morals. The only conclusion is that if anything goes, you are your own god and the only evolving you could further undergo is to further anarchy, read destruction. Therefore as hell is the definition of utter eternal destruction you will gladly embrace the true God telling you to go to hell. We’ll see, He said there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The secret rapture: the ultimate atheistic materialism. In view of the above, the absurd idea that God would deny the resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ, in the flesh, and our own resurrection in our own flesh, by His power in the future, and substitute simply vanishing from the Earth (the actual basis is cabballa), would mean that the God-man Jesus Christ and His children that God has given Him (we who believe) would all vanish into the universe. If the God-man and all that witness to Him, then also God Himself would vanish into the same non-heroic materialism and presto there is no God and atheism reigns. Therefore, ipso facto, the secret rapture is the ultimate (final), atheistic (God being assigned a place in the historical tautologies and not really existing), materialism (the above little accidental atoms coming to a new conclusion). The next step, the profiteers of the false doctrine of the secret rapture tell us gleefully, is the coming of the Antichrist, whom they will greet with open arms as the proof of their doctrine of: God doesn’t like those who suffer (what does that say about Christ?) but really wants us to be devoted to the idolatry of mammon in this material world. In this rejection of God and His Christ, and with the Stoic and/or other addition of the ancient gods, Christ cast down at His Cross, to the above Epicurean mentioned world, the stage will not only be set, but will greet with raucous cheers the final false god, the man-god, the Antichrist.

The Gnostics in the first century A.D. were famous for taking over the doctrines and practices of the ancient Mesopotamian sorcery/magic and astrology as is fully recounted in the Church Fathers. The worst of all and the root, as St. Hippolytus warns us, is the Naasseni, the serpent worshipping Judeo-Gnostics.

From CCEL and the Church Fathers in the public domain with comments.

…This term has created the title "Ophites," which may be regarded as the generic denomination for all the advocates of this phase of Gnosticism.

The heresy of the Naasseni (literally “Naas” is the word for serpent; cult of Jews who were Gnostic serpent worshipping Satanists) is adverted to by the other leading writers on heresy in the early age of the Church. See St. Irenaeus, i, 34: Origen, Contr. Cels., vi 28 (p. 291 et seq. ed. Spenc.); Tertullian, Proeser., c. 47 Theodoret, Haeretic. Fabul, i. 14; Epiphanius, Advers. Haereses., xxv. and xxxvii.: St. Augustine, De Haeres., xvii.; Jerome, Comment. Epist. ad Galat., lib. ii. The Abbe Cruice reminds his readers that the Naasseni carried their doctrines into India, and refers to the Asiatic Researches (vol. x. p. 39). It was from this that the main composers of Buddhist teachings, Nagarjuna (literally “wise snake”) and Ashvaghosha, got their ideas (early second century A.D.) which are at the real historical beginning of Buddhism and not the mythic beginning around 500 B.C. concurrent with Mahavira and Goshala.

The Abbe Cruice mentions the following works as of authority among the Judeo-Gnostic Naasseni, and from whence they derived their system: The Gospel of Perfection, Gospel of Eve, The Questions of Mary, Concerning the Offspring of Mary, The Gospel of Philip, The Gospel according to (1) Thomas, (2) the Egyptians.

The Hebrew word is nachash. Hebrew for serpent and black magic and from whence comes the Indian word naga (serpent) and which is the same as nag in Nag Hammadi where the Gnostic writings were found a few decades ago and totally backed up everything that the Church Fathers said about the Gnostics.

paraton autoon logon. Bernaysius suggests for these words, patera too autoo logoo. Schneidewin regards the emendation as an error, and Bunsen partly so. The latter would read, patera ton autoon Logon, i.e., "The Naasseni honour the Father of all existent things, the Logos, as man and the Son of Man." That is they honor: Satan as God the Father which is absolute blasphemy, and Jesus Christ as only man and only one example of the Logos and born of Mary and Joseph and not by the virgin birth, which is also absolute apostasy. It is true that Yahweh is the true God, but certainly not any part of serpent worship; that is totally apostate.

See Irenaeus, Haer.,

gnosis,-a term often alluded to by St. John, and which gives its name "Gnosticism" to the various forms of the Ophitic heresy. … In this and other instances it will be found that the system, however wild and incoherent in its theology, of the Naaseni and of some of the other Gnostic sects, was one which was constructed ….

(The Naaseni Gnostic Jesus is also a hermaphrodite male-female. See St. Hippolytus Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol. 5 Refutatiion of all Heresies.)

The following is the story associated with Nagarjuna:

Nagarjuna (raised a Hindu) entered a Buddhist monastery. In a mere ninety days he studied and mastered the whole of the Pali canon, the early writings of Buddhism. He left the monastery in search of more advanced teachings of the Buddha that he felt sure must exist. One day he was expounding upon the doctrine of the Buddha to a group of listeners and noticed that, following the lecture, two members of the audience disappeared into the ground. He followed them to what proved to be their home, the kingdom of the Nagas, a land inhabited by beneficent, half-divine, serpent- like beings. Here the Nagas presented Nagarjuna with occult teachings and with several volumes of sutras, canonical scriptures. These writings were the Prajnaparamitas, the "Perfection of Wisdom" sutras. (From the

Person of Nagarjuna at http://bahai-library.com/personal/jw/other.pubs/nagarjuna/nag04.html)

In connection with Agni and the entire Hindu-Buddhist pantheon, Sarasvati, the goddess of wisdom (in Tibet Arya-Sarasvati – god-goddess/Satan platonic logos) is the goddess of speech knowledge and language (words). In China and Japan the Buddhist Kuan-yin is equivalent to her. See below for the same, in the original gnostic version, who they worshipped as Satan; the gnostic Satan-mother-goddess "Thunder":

"I am the hearing which is attainable to everyone
and the speech which cannot be grasped. and great is my multitude of words."

IN SHORT IT WAS THE APOSTATE SATAN WORSHIPPING GNOSTIC JEWS THAT CREATED BUDDHISM BY THEIR EXPORT OF THEIR BLACK MAGIC TO INDIA. IT IS TRUE THAT THE ALREADY PAGAN BASE OF HINDUISM WAS THE PAN HELLENIC – INDIAN (including earlier Mesopotamian) PAGANISM THAT IT WAS GRAFTED ONTO.

Both the Gnostic Jews and Gentiles are Satanists. Satanism and all those who follow that are damned by God.

From God

Dt:29:
1 ¶ These are the words of the covenant which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab: beside that covenant which he made with them in Horeb.
2 And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: You have seen all the things that the Lord did before you in the land of Egypt to Pharao, and to all his servants, and to his whole land.
3 The great temptations, which thy eyes have seen, those mighty signs and wonders,
4 And the Lord hath not given you a heart to understand, and eyes to see, and ears that may hear, unto this present day.
5 He hath brought you forty years through the desert: your garments are not worn out, neither are the shoes of your feet consumed with age.
6 You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or strong drink: that you might know that I am the Lord your God.
7 And you came to this place: and Sehon king of Hesebon, and Og king of Basan, came out against us to fight. And we slew them.
8 And took their land, and delivered it for a possession to Ruben and Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses.
9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and fulfil them: that you may understand all that you do.
10 ¶ You all stand this day before the Lord your God, your princes, and tribes, and ancients, and doctors, all the people of Israel,
11 Your children and your wives, and the stranger that abideth with thee in the camp, besides the hewers of wood, and them that bring water:
12 That thou mayst pass in the covenant of the Lord thy God, and in the oath which this day the Lord thy God maketh with thee.
13 That he may raise thee up a people to himself, and he may be thy God as he hath spoken to thee, and as he swore to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant, and confirm these oaths,
15 But with all that are present and that are absent.
16 For you know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt, and how we have passed through the midst of nations, and passing through them,
17 You have seen their abominations and filth, that is to say, their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which they worshipped.
18 Lest perhaps there should be among you a man or a woman, a family or a tribe, whose heart is turned away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of those nations: and there should be among you a root bringing forth gall and bitterness.
19 And when he shall hear the words of this oath, he should bless himself in his heart saying: I shall have peace, and will walk on in the naughtiness of my heart: and the drunken may consume the thirsty,
20 And the Lord should not forgive him: but his wrath and jealousy against that man should be exceedingly enkindled at that time, and all the curses that are written in this volume should light upon him: and the Lord should blot out his name from under heaven,
21 And utterly destroy him out of all the tribes of Israel, according to the curses that are contained in the book of this law and covenant:
22 And the following generation shall say, and the children that shall be born hereafter, and the strangers that shall come from afar, seeing the plagues of that land and the evils wherewith the Lord hath afflicted it,
23 Burning it with brimstone, and the heat of salt, so that it cannot be sown any more, nor any green thing grow therein, after the example of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha, Adama and Seboim, which the Lord destroyed in his wrath and indignation:
24 And all the nations shall say: Why hath the Lord done thus to this land? what meaneth this exceeding great heat of his wrath?
25 And they shall answer: Because they forsook the covenant of the Lord, which he made with their fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt:
26 And they have served strange gods, and adored them, whom they knew not, and for whom they had not been assigned:
27 Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this volume:
28 And he hath cast them out of their land, in anger and in wrath, and in very great indignation, and hath thrown them into a strange land, as it is seen this day.
29 Secret (occult) things (belong) to the Lord our God: things that are manifest, to us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Heb:6:

1 ¶ Wherefore, leaving the word of the beginning of Christ, let us go on to things more perfect: not laying again the foundation of penance from dead works and of faith towards God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms and imposition of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once illuminated, have tasted also the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 Have moreover tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come,
6 And are fallen away: to be renewed again to penance, crucifying again to themselves the Son of God and making him a mockery.
7 For the earth, that drinketh in the rain which cometh often upon it and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is tilled, receiveth blessing from God.
8 But that which bringeth forth thorns and briers is reprobate and very near unto a curse: whose end is to be burnt.

Christ is our only Priest, all baptized believers are His priesthood.

True disciples.

Mk:9:
1 ¶ (8-39) And he said to them: Amen I say to you that there are some of them that stand here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God coming in power.
2 (9-1) And after six days, Jesus taketh with him Peter and James and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves, and was transfigured before them.
3 (9-2) And his garments became shining and exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller upon earth can make white.
4 (9-3) And there appeared to them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
5 (9-4) And Peter answering, said to Jesus: Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. And let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
6 (9-5) For he knew not what he said: for they were struck with fear.
7 (9-6) And there was a cloud overshadowing them. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my most beloved Son. Hear ye him.
8 (9-7) And immediately looking about, they saw no man any more, but Jesus only with them.
9 (9-8 ) And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them not to tell any man what things they had seen, till the Son of man shall be risen again from the dead.
10 (9-9) And they kept the word to themselves; questioning together what that should mean, when he shall be risen from the dead.
11 (9-10) And they asked him, saying: Why then do the Pharisees and scribes say that Elias must come first?
12 (9-11) Who answering, said to then: Elias, when he shall come first, shall restore all things; and as it is written of the Son of man that he must suffer many things and be despised.
13 (9-12) But I say to you that Elias also is come (and they have done to him whatsoever they would), as it is written of him.
14 ¶ (9-13) And coming to his disciples he saw a great multitude about them and the scribes disputing with them.
15 (9-14) And presently all the people, seeing Jesus, were astonished and struck with fear: and running to him, they saluted him.
16 (9-15) And he asked them: What do you question about among you?
17 (9-16) And one of the multitude, answering, said: Master, I have brought my son to thee, having a dumb spirit.
18 (9-17) Who, wheresoever he taketh him, dasheth him: and he foameth and gnasheth with the teeth and pineth away. And I spoke to thy disciples to cast him out: and they could not.
19 (9-18 ) Who answering them, said: O incredulous generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him unto me.
20 (9-19) And they brought him. And when he had seen him, immediately the spirit troubled him and being thrown down upon the ground, he rolled about foaming.
21 (9-20) And he asked his father: How long time is it since this hath happened unto him? But he said: From his infancy.
22 (9-21) And oftentimes hath he cast him into the fire and into the waters to destroy him. But if thou canst do any thing, help us, having compassion on us.
23 (9-22) And Jesus saith to him: If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 (9-23) And immediately the father of the boy crying out, with tears said: I do believe, Lord. Help my unbelief.
25 (9-24) And when Jesus saw the multitude running together, he threatened the unclean spirit, saying to him: Deaf and dumb spirit, I command thee, go out of him and enter not any more into him.
26 (9-25) And crying out and greatly tearing him, he went out of him. And he became as dead, so that many said: He is dead.
27 (9-26) But Jesus taking him by the hand, lifted him up. And he arose.
28 (9-27) And when he was come into the house, his disciples secretly asked him: Why could not we cast him out?
29 (9-28 ) And he said to them: This kind can go out by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
30 ¶ (9-29) And departing from thence, they passed through Galilee: and he would not that any man should know it.
31 (9-30) And he taught his disciples and said to them: The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise again the third day.
32 (9-31) But they understood not the word: and they were afraid to ask him.
33 (9-32) And they came to Capharnaum. And when they were in the house, he asked them: What did you treat of in the way?
34 (9-33) But they held their peace, for in the way they had disputed among themselves, which of them should be the greatest.
35 (9-34) And sitting down, he called the twelve and saith to them: If any man desire to be first, he shall be the last of all and be minister of all.
36 (9-35) And taking a child, he set him in the midst of them. Whom when he had embraced, he saith to them:
37 (9-36) Whosoever shall receive one such child as this in my name receiveth me. And whosoever shall receive me receiveth not me but him that sent me.
38 (9-37) John answered him, saying: Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, who followeth not us: and we forbade him.
39 (9-38 ) But Jesus said: Do not forbid him. For there is no man that doth a miracle in my name and can soon speak ill of me.
40 (9-39) For he that is not against you is for you.
41 ¶ (9-40) For whosoever shall give you to drink a cup of water in my name, because you belong to Christ: amen I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 (9-41) And whosoever shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me: it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he were cast into the sea.
43 (9-42) And if thy hand scandalize thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life, maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into unquenchable fire:
44 (9-43) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not extinguished.
45 (9-44) And if thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter lame into life everlasting than having two feet to be cast into the hell of unquenchable fire:
46 (9-45) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not extinguished.
47 (9-46) And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee with one eye to enter into the kingdom of God than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire:
48 (9-47) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not extinguished.
49 (9-48 ) For every one shall be salted with fire: and every victim shall be salted with salt.
50 (9-49) Salt is good. But if the salt become unsavoury, wherewith will you season it? Have salt in you: and have peace among you.

St. Irenaeus (180 A.D.) Against Heresies Book II Chapter XXXI

2. Moreover, those also will be thus confuted who belong to Simon and Carpocrates, and if there be any others who are said to perform miracles--who do not perform what they do either through the power of God, or in connection with the truth, nor for the well-being of men, but for the sake of destroying and misleading mankind, by means of magical deceptions, and with universal deceit, thus entailing greater harm than good on those who believe them, with respect to the point on which they lead them astray. For they can neither confer sight on the blind, nor hearing on the deaf, nor chase away all sorts of demons--[none, indeed,] except those that are sent into others by themselves, if they can even do so much as this. Nor can they cure the weak, or the lame, or the paralytic, or those who are distressed in any other part of the body, as has often been done in regard to bodily infinity. Nor can they furnish effective remedies for those external accidents which may occur. And so far are they from being ABLE TO RAISE THE DEAD, AS THE LORD RAISED THEM, AND THE APOSTLES DID BY MEANS OF PRAYER, AND AS HAS BEEN FREQUENTLY DONE IN THE BROTHERHOOD ON ACCOUNT OF SOME NECESSITY--THE ENTIRE CHURCH IN THAT PARTICULAR LOCALITY ENTREATING [THE FAVOR] WITH MUCH FASTING AND PRAYER, the spirit of the dead man has returned, and he has been bestowed in answer to the prayers of the saints--that they do not even believe this can be possibly be done, [and hold] that the resurrection from the dead(3) is simply an acquaintance with that truth which they proclaim.

3. Since, therefore, there exist among them error and misleading influences, and magical illusions are impiously wrought in the sight of men; but in the Church, sympathy, and compassion, and stedfastness, and truth, for the aid and encouragement of mankind, are not only displayed without fee or reward, but we ourselves lay out for the benefit of others our own means; and inasmuch as those who are cured very frequently do not possess the things which they require, they receive them from us;--[since such is the case,] these men are in this way undoubtedly proved to be utter aliens from the divine nature, the beneficence of God, and all spiritual excellence. It behoves us to flee from them as we would from him; and the greater the display with which they are said to perform [their marvels], the more carefully should we watch them, as having been endowed with a greater spirit of wickedness. If any one will consider the prophecy referred to, and the daily practices of these men, he will find that their manner of acting is one and the same with the demons.

Note: that with the Gnostics (pseudo-christians who combined their supposed confession of Christ with paganism), as with the Pagans, purposeful obsession with demons caused their own possession absolutely cutting both groups off from Christ. The modern synchretists are equally guilty.

St. Paul

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill (Areopagus), and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

- Acts 17:22-29 (KJV)

In the above St. Paul exhorts the Athenians to come to the true God (by repentance from their paganism totally rejecting paganism and receive Christ by confessing Him and being baptized).

Jesus Christ is Our Only Priest.

Note the traits of the false priests, they are:

Apostate, with only an outward show of religiosity,
Of false faith,
Parasites who combine with pagan demons and are murderers,
Doubleminded with envy and false accusation who blaspheme the Holy Spirit and have no forgiveness who scandalize children and are betrayers and spies, puffed up, making false judgement and promising false security with an unholy indignation, who seek to lay snares and break the law they pretend to uphold. They in fact cause the men who follow them to be damned along with themselves.

In His sermon on the mount Jesus said about the false priests and ministers: Mt:7:22 Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
